One-day SELF-TAPE AUDITION MASTERCLASS
Saturday, 15 October, 2016
In this unique two-part masterclass, actors will have the opportunity to improve self-taping skills, and learn new strategies for audition work.
Part 1: Feedback on Self Taped Auditions:
Self-taped auditions are increasingly prevalent in the industry and actors are expected to have the skills to effectively present themselves. Actors will bring a pre-assigned self taped audition that they have taped themselves in advance. Nancy will offer detailed feedback on each clip.
Part 2: Audition Strategy Exercises:
Actors will take part in stimulating exercises designed to develop spontaneity and purpose, in quick-read audition circumstances. Learn new techniques for cold-reading and strategize an approach to audition work.
